From the author: What are the orders of love and who should go to systemic family constellations? In 1998, the German priest Bert Hellinger published the book “The Hidden Symmetry of Love” (in the Russian translation the book is called “Orders of Love”), in In it he outlined his view of the hierarchy of relationships. Having summarized his experience of working with people, Bert came up with a rule: the system always strives for homeostasis. At one time, Freud wrote about this, studying several generations of the descendants of Napoleon’s soldiers, calling this phenomenon “the wind of cannonballs.” When the soldiers saw the death of their comrades, it seemed to them that they felt vibrations in the air from artillery shells flying past. Their children and grandchildren suffered from nightmares, feelings of mortal terror, panic attacks, severe asthma attacks, etc. What does this mean? Any family, i.e. family system strives for balance. If something happened in one of the generations, the system will strive with all its might to replace it. If in one generation there is something unspoken, some secret, unbearable and unexpressed feelings, in the next generation it will be a symptom, and after another generation - a hereditary disease, etc. Hellinger went further: he assigned a serial number to the members of the system - first, second and third rank, for example, grandfathers, parents, children. If someone claims to be a member with a different order, a failure occurs in the system. In what case is it worth contacting a systemic family constellator?• There are cases of death of small children in the family; in some sources the age is indicated up to 3 years, in others - up to 7 years.• A woman of childbearing age cannot start a family.• There are problems with conceiving a child. Men usually go to constellations because of problems in business. There are many trainings aimed at working with the family scenario and family heritage, their goal is to appropriate yourself the strength of the family. Systemic family constellations are a little different, about working with a specific situation. For example, a young woman goes through four operations to remove cysts on her ovaries, the chance of getting pregnant is negligible, doctors suggest IVF. Having done a session on family constellations, she analyzes family history: her grandmother lost four sons during the Great Patriotic War and, without having time to mourn them, dies of a broken heart. The only survivor was the client's mother, who gave birth to her only daughter. The client completes the grieving work of her kind and a few months later becomes pregnant. Now a wonderful little son is growing up in her family. In conclusion, I would like to say that family constellations, or a psychodramatic session, from the outside for a person who has no experience in psychotherapy, may look like something very far from reality, but this is undoubtedly a powerful tool for change fate.
